As you know, our lovely selection of vintage watches are chosen to be affordable, so we don’t often have the famously expensive watch brands. But we couldn’t resist this gorgeous vintage art deco Breitling ladies’ watch when we found it at a watch fair. It’s really stunning quality and has never been worn – it’s still got an original label. Easter treat, anyone?
It’s a bargain at £159 but if that’s out of your price range we have a similar 1940s style watch by the Swiss firm Avia, for just £49. It doesn’t have the sought-after brand name (or, perhaps, the bullet-proof build quality) but it’s still rather lovely.
